Discover Florida’s Oceans has created a plate that represents the essence of Florida and the understanding of the economic power of our oceans. In order to reach a broad statewide audience and assist Discover Florida’s Oceans with direct marketing, promotion and advertising, dynamic corporate partners have been recruited. The Discover Florida’s Oceans specialty license plate was conceived by the scientists of Hubbs-SeaWorld Research Institute. The license plate is important because it provides Floridians with the opportunity to support important marine research and to conserve the beaches and oceans that are the foundation of our Florida lifestyle.
Hubbs-SeaWorld Research Institute has developed a strategic marketing, communications, and sales strategy that will reach statewide audiences. Discover Florida’s Oceans will be using a variety of media outlets, such as print media, electronic media, billboards, direct mail, and TV advertisements.
Thanks to the Florida Legislature for passing the Discover Florida’s Oceans plate. With their leadership and support, Florida’s coastal waters and estuaries are already receiving previously untapped funding for vital research.
